About Smith River
The redwood forest
My family has lived in the Smith River valley for the better part of 100 years and spans five generations. Northern California has been the center of the family history.

daisy
Daisy, Little Grandma, purchased her house on the Smith River long before it was grown over and populated. Surrounded mostly by farms that start in the Redwoods and push up into Southern Oregon, locals embraced the beauty that it was. Between San Francisco and up to Coos Bay Oregon you will find coast line and river water like no other place on earth.
Growing family
Year by year our family grew and began making it a home. Home is where your heart is. Home is where those that love you will always greet you with a smile...and Whoppers. Love is sharing your name with someone that you can't imagine life without.
World war ii
Eventually, what started as a little homestead on the river, it started expanding. Grand parents that couldn't live without each other. Before deployment, Spud, who was assigned to make potato bread (Spuds) for the Navy, proposed to my grandma and two hearts became one.
As the family scattered into the wind
The one thing that stuck with me was an appreciation for the world around us. Whether it was down on the river with cousins or exploring the forests around us, the beauty of North California and South Oregon has followed me throughout my life. The quiet Redwood trees, with the Smith River twisting down the valley, and touching the ocean. It's the ideal place for family history to start.
purpose
While life has taken me so far away from those sandy beaches and simple life, my goal is to help people appreciate what we grew up with. Quality products that represent nature and simple things that make life beautiful...just like growing up on the Smith River, in Nothern California.
Small Begining
The first customer facing store opened in April 2022, offering all our natural products. Customers instantly began interacting with scents, products, and learning the possibilities of a grass roots small business. Although the shop is not in Smith River, California the spirt of clean, organic products carry over has our family history has branched out and away from our center.
